How Do Sewer Lines Get Damaged, Anyway?

sunny-techniciansIt’s just a pipe. There are not any mechanical components to degrade over time. And the thing is buried on my property,  so it is not even as though it is exposed to the elements. So how the heck is it that a sewer line in Las Vegas, NV can get damaged, anyway? Shouldn’t it be safe down there, where the sun cannot even beat down on it and heat it up?

Sure—maybe in a perfect world. But this is not a perfect world, and the fact of the matter is that you can expect problems to develop with your sewer line at some point.
